Welcome back to another edition of That's a Monday Me Problem ☕. Your weekly dose of thoughts, tips & tricks, motivation, coffee, and a few things in between to tackle the week ahead.


Joy doesn’t always bump into us. It’s not looking for us. We have to go find it. We have to plan it and hold space for it in our lives.

This is something I’ve learned over the years as I wallowed in my sorrows; family drama, dealing with work-from-home fatigue, work stress, losing friends, and feeling a lack of community. I had to actively go out and find joy. Life is lived in moments, and imagine spending the bulk of that time sad, upset, or unhappy with where you are. If you proactively seek joy, you will find it. It becomes contagious and so addicting that you need more of it. The key is understanding that it comes in waves. So don’t spend your joyful moments thinking about the next time you’ll feel this again. Just let it be. Stand in it and enjoy it.
